I love my Porter Cable 2 vacuum cleaners, and this set of tools is very close to them. The tools are very useful and will take a long time if you avoid driving over them. Here are my minor complaints: the pipe, usually stick together after work joints and dust together. Regularly clean the joints as to separate them and push them all together. Plastic plates at one end of the tube, which will. Thin metal tubes to carry on the front panel, where the rub with respect to those in vacuum.
The device has a wide attachment to the floor, not a brush, so that works well to collect spills. To my surprise, but also works well on dirt, wood and concrete floors. Cracks tool works as expected. Brush long hair, which I think is too strict and the angle of the pipe, the brush is not ergonomic.
Porter Cable vacuum of their models have improved significantly compared with the first model (which I have), but they have no significant change in the tool kit

My shop is in my basement, so two things are of paramount importance: controlling the dust and minimizing the noise. This does both beautifully. As you will see, you do not have to make a lot of noise to move air. Also, your best opportunity to contol fine dust is at the source so being able to hook up a good vacuum to your sander, biscuit jointer, router, etc. is essential. For a vacuum that is at least an order of magnitude cheaper than the european "dust extractors" it works great. The only reason it does not get five stars (and it should) is that there is no on-board storage for the cord, hose, and other accessories.

This would be a perfect product if they included the step adapter for various tools. Charging another $17 for the small adapter is a little much, but otherwise this accessory makes a great shop vacuum fantastic.
GREAT ACCESSORY KIT!!
I have an older model Porter Cable vacuum. (model #7810) After having the vacuum for a while, I liked it so much that I wanted to get an accessory kit so that I could do a few more things with it than just using it primarily as a dust collector for my sander. I bought the 78110 accessory kit about three months ago, and since then have been completely satisfied with it. The thing I like most about it is that it has metal extensions rather than just plastic extensions like many of the other competitors. The different brushes and wands have enabled me to use this for a ton of different applications ranging from vacuuming my car to cleaning up some of my furniture. Overall, this has been a great investment for me! Great job Porter Cable!
